The school where I studied in Bucharest, Romania, had two separate entrances – one for the teachers and one for students. Also, two separate sets of stairs, one for the teachers and one for the students. We were only allowed to use our door and our set of stairs. The teacher’s stairs were covered with a green fluffy carpet and there were plants on every floor. Ours were bare concrete, cold, soulless.
